ABOUT
Andrés is an NYC based performer and choreographer. He was born in Medellin, Colombia and at a young age moved to the states and discovered an unstoppable creativity and passion for storytelling. His big hobbies and interests include travel, fitness, interior design and architecture.
Andrés is extremely passionate about family and community. He seeks to collaborate with others who share his core values of integrity, compassion, work ethic and above all, having a a damn good time!
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
On stage, Andrés has performed and toured with various Broadway shows including Jersey Boys, Flashdance and West Side Story; from which he received a Broadway World Nomination for best actor for the role of Bernardo. Andrés has also worked at numerous top regional theaters including The Muny, Papermill Playhouse, George Street Playhouse, Asolo Rep, North Shore Music Theater and The Gateway.
As a creative, Andrés is currently directing & choreographing shows at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City. Previously he has worked as an associate director and choreographer at The Gateway and choreographed special events, performances and music videos. Andrés recently also worked as assistant director to Broadway Bares: Hit The Strip and is set to be a choreographer at next years big event.
